Yes, there is definitely 11 points to grease on the front, nothing on the drive shafts though. Keep an eye on them when you fill, you don't want to blow them out. Is yours damaged? If you need to replace it, use one from a first gen that has the hole for the steering stabilizer. First Gen. part # 29-5512 at LMCTRUCK.com $ 269.95 new. Maybe find one in salvage yard, for sure worth the effort to look. LMC does not list a replacement for second Gen.

The boot replacement kits I use come with pre-measured packets. http://partimages.genpt.com/partimages/570382.jpg Each packet is enough for each boot. Mine as well but it is a lot smaller amount than what was in the original stock boots .

Yes, welcome ! :wave: Like HenryJ said dump the dex and for sure flush it out real good. Mine got about 90,000 on it before my Intake gaskets let loose but, I don't suggest waiting. It is a very time consuming project to replace those gaskets. Time equals money and it's always best to beat the cost....

All the mechanics are in good shape. It's simply a maintenance issue with the split open boot. I know dust will destroy the CV joint and that is not an option. Was unaware of split style repair boots. Are these boots reliable ? Thanks for the input "killian96ss"
