I dont know how much of it they have out there, but being I am boat LA LA land out here on the jersey shore I can probably pick up a marine grade stereo and speaker set for you for about 200 bucks or less if you want. They usually put them on sale about now because the summer is coming.

The gas gauge on these trucks is not proportionate to the gallons in the tank. The crew cab tank is 17.8 gallons, and trust me, i have put 17.8 gallons in it once not that long ago. Ran out of gas in ohio outside of pittsburgh on a trip with friends.

They are directly interchangeable. They support 2071lbs VS 1704lb on the stock units. My crew has a V8 up front so I want the ZR2s to better support the added engine weight. Also since they support more weight they are stiffer, can be cranked up higher and will handle better in cornering.

Re: 30 Inch tire pressure
CORRECTION, i take it back. I just looked it up online on the General tire site. They said for the 30x9.5 Grabber AT2 it is 50PSI MAX. The tire itself does not say max for some reason..

Re: 30 Inch tire pressure
But it doesnt say max tire pressure on the side of these tires? It says load support at 50PSI in one place and then somewhere else it says 50PSI.

30 Inch tire pressure
What tire pressure should I be running with 30x9.5s on my crew? I have 15 inch ZR5 wheels and the V8 swap so theres a little more weight on the front end. The sidewall of the tire says 50 PSI but the truck door says 32 i believe. My friend who put the tires on for me set them at 40PSi and they look ...

Re: Liquid behind dash
My crew did it once in a while, but now both my crew and my buddys blazer do it often. I think maybe they dont have enough fluid in them. My truck just had a V8 swap and my friends also had an intake gasket replacement. My friends was horribly crudded up with the Dex crap so its very possible that a...

Re: 4WD issue
On these trucks you are supposed to be able to shift the 4 High when its in drive. I have never done it in neutral, only for 4 low. you can do it to 4 high while its moving too, at least thats what its supposed to be able to do with the push button system. When I was under my truck last night I dont...

Re: 4WD issue
Id disconnect the battery, the codes are codes for the 4x4 module, not emissions related codes which is probably all your pocket scanner does.

Re: 4WD issue
Sounds like you should be ok, either way thats an expensive part. While your at it i would take the diaphragm thats under the battery too if its not rotted out. If that hasnt gone yet in your truck it will probably be the next thing to go. They are about $120 new from the dealer. The vac switch is c...

Re: 2002 S10 Vortec V8 Swap Build.
Logged about 250 miles on it this weekend so far. Just arrived back in Wilmington Delaware for the final week of my training. Judging by the trip computer vs fuel gauge I get about the same MPG highway with this as I did with the V6 so far. Around town/being silly with it the calculation on my first...

Re: Oil Leak
The oil line from the relocator to the engine looks fairly new, but with the oil marks on it looks like maybe the line from the cooler in the radiator to the filter re locator itself is probably leaking. Mine was bad on my truck and I replaced it.

Re: Hesitates to start
Most likely a bad check valve in the fuel pump. We chased everything possible under the hood when mine had this problem because I was stubborn to change the fuel pump. It was the fuel pump lol. Though i did find I had a leaking injector which that didnt hurt to replace at the time.
