Pull the ABS fuse and drive it around. This is safe to do, just remember that the ABS will not work at all. Does it still apply the brakes by itself? The rear sway bar will not help locate the rear axle for towing with extended shackles. Pulling a trailer the longer shackles may allow too much lateral movement and the driveshaft can rub the fuel tank. Ask Hobie how he knows ;) You should be able to find the tale of his experience. A track bar or...

Re: Screeching & Srapeing at inner end of front right axle.
As I said above, there have been NO LEAKS ANYWHERE. After putting 650 ml. in the diff. , the screeching and scrapeing stopped instantly. I took a 50 mile hot lap through these hills and stayed dry at all connections.

Re: Screeching & Srapeing at inner end of front right axle.
Well after sticking every finger that will fit in the hole, I can't find any oil level. No rust or loose pieces either, but no oil level detected. I've had no leaks any where, so I guess the stuff just dried up. What oil should go in there ?

Screeching & Srapeing front right axle *solved
Driving home about 1/4 mile from house I heard a load Screeching. I slowed down from 20 to 5 and could hear it in front right side. I thought maybe a rock in the brake somewhere but, no such luck. I had the wheel off and turned the hub only to find the screech and scrape coming from at or in the dif...

Re: need advice - went wheeling and need more clearance.
Hey dougg01, I'm running 8x15 wheels with 3 3/4" back spacing. I have no inside rub problems anywhere. I have done the Skidz Flare cuts to front and back wheel wells , along with my ZR5 flares to get as much clearance as possible. The only rub I get now is the top of my front wheel wells at the fend...

Re: Mild Hopping
I set my truck up with all four wheels safe off the ground. Started engine , set four wheel drive and let it run in gear. All four turning with cruise set at 40 mph. I could not see any distortion, out of round or out of line. I then did diagonal rotation. First drive felt like it was fixed, but aft...

Mild Hopping *solved (mud)
I'll try to explain this the best I can. When I start out driving, the ride seems smooth and true but , as I keep going I notice a slight bumping or hopping feel in my whole truck. There is no noticeable feeling in the steering wheel straight line or turning. It does speed up and slow down with my s...
