Yup, the bottle says 4oz per 10 gallons. Interesting thing though, I've only been using 2oz per 10 gal and do measure fairly carefully. Mileage is staying steady at 14 or a little more stop and go so I'm happy. :thumb:

Thanks for the link HenryJ! In my case I was lucky the valves hadn't leaked moisture into the pump before I discovered the problem. Good thing as the pump and hose was already replaced.

Can't speak to the 02's but no I am referring to the air injection pump system on the 01's. This a fresh air injection system as opposed to an exhaust recirculation system you mention. Primary function of air injection is to provide extra O2 to heat up the cat quicker to get emissions under control....

The "big black box" sits off to the right side more directly above and behind the gas tank. The Evap vent valve is attached to the crossmember directly above the driveshaft. HenryJ has a link above which gives a great picture of the thing if you want to click on and go see.

Yup that's the one. Careful when cleaning out the valve as it is easy to loose or damage the little rubber disc that is spring loaded inside and acts to seal it off in neutral position.

Thanks for the advice HenryJ but I've already secured a good used box #15741322 and tried it to no avail. I've even taken the three button switch apart to inspect for damage or sticking parts to no avail. Only other info I can offer is it seems to bother worse when the weather is damp or humid.
