Ultimately exhaust is a preferential decision. I personally don't like the super loud, ultra deep sound. I prefer the quieter more subtle notes. Drug around a 20' utility trailer last night for a few hours. Trailer weighs probably 1500-1800 or so I would guess. It's pretty light for a trailer I think. Wood plank deck, and made mostly of steel angle, so not alot to it. With 90% of my houshold items on it I'd say I added another 1500 lbs or so...

just a guess, but figuring since none of the S-series trucks ever got the tow/haul feature, i`d be willing to bet GM elected not to spend the extra $.03 per cluster to install this bulb... :shock: Some of the S-series did get it though. Sounds like a good setup, although I question the IAT mod. The IAT in the stock system is a fueling sensor, and has no bearing on the cooling system at any level. The rest of the mods most definately help though, and I'll be following 99% of the recipe in a year or two when the stock stuff no longer...

Firm is a subjective word....however IMO you shouldn't "feel" a bang or hit of any sort when it shifts. It should be precise, and quick. Only thing I can recommend is to never use D while towing. Dumping the stock shocks and the Energy sway bar kit in front. Never use D or never use OD?!?!??! D is overdrive right? :? It's supposed to be a TEMPORARY ground. Not a constant ground. If you have a constant ground then you are wiring it in such a manner that it thinks you are holding the switch in.
