Check to make sure that the belts aren't twisted. They can be extremely difficult to pull if they're twisted going through the anchors.

I ran those on my old 2wd Sonoma and I was impressed. They weren't as stiff as the ES9000's I have on my CC now, but they did offer a good balance of ride and handling. I would generally recommend them to anyone except hardcore offroaders. :thumb:

I'd say go with 30x9.5x15. Rubbing shouldn't be a problem on stock wheels. :) If you're planning to get a 2" body lift, wait until you do that, then do a mild torsion bar crank, and go with 31x10.5x15's. :)

If you've taken off atleast 1.5" from the rear of the front fender, you shouldn't have any rubbing issues with 31x10.5's on 15x8 wheels with 4" of backspacing. I'm not 100% sure about larger tire sizes though. :)

When trimming the front fenders, you'll have to use a receiprocating saw. It would take many hours, and many more cutoff wheels to do it with a dremel. :lol: A dremel would work fine for the rear fenders though. :)

Mine does that every now and then. I've never paid it much attention. It could be from a hard shift. Maybe the tranny shifting hard, and the belt slips slightly. That would be my guess.

That's probably KCustom's truck. Superlift used his truck as a testbed for the prototype 6" S-10 lift. He molded his own flares, and almost started selling them. I've seen his truck photochopped into atleast half a dozen different colors. It's actually pewter. :)

I would stay away from them. It looks like they just help to stretch the front suspension. This will cause the same problems as aftermarket torsion bar keys. Ball joints, CV shafts/boots, camber adjustments, etc... Pretty much the only way to lift the front end beyond the limits of the stock torsion...

I'd suggest as close to 5" as you can get. 4.75" rear spacing should work well with a 7" wheel. Plan on some rubbing though. Mine was driveable, but rubbed quite a bit with that combination. Yea, you'll probably need to do some fender massaging to eleminate rubbing on the rear of the front fenders.

While I do think they're much stronger than they look, I would question their strength in a bottom impact, or side impact situation. Say you hit a dip offroad, and the from of the truck slammed into the ground, I think it would probably bend both sets of supports.

On stock wheels, 2" spacers on the rear line the tires up with the fenders the best IMO. :)

I have a WAAG Sportster (Pushbar) on mine. It mounts the same way as the WAAG brushguards.

I have to agree, black definitelly goes better with yellow than chrome IMO. :) I think the black wheels would look awesome. Then you just need to color everything else that is chrome, like the bumpers and grille crossbar. :)

Yea, I'm gonna put plugs in the holes in the exhaust manifolds to bypass the useless thing. I didn't ask about the injector. The tech used the term "bad injector" so that could mean several things.

Just an update. I took the truck to the dealer, and a bad injector was found to be the culprit. Now the truck has noticeably more power through the RPM range, but the difference at low RPMs is only barely noticeable.

The really sad thing is this: How did the kid gain access to that gun? In most cases, the gun belongs to a parent, and is not properly secured. IMO, if you're going to run large Chrome wheels, I'd remove as many black accessories as possible. This will also give the trucka clean look. Safari Bar, Bed Rails, Roof Rack. This coming february will be a year since I put my aftermarket wheels on. They're similar to yours--8" wide with 4" of backspacing, wrapped in 31x10.5x15's. No balljoint problems yet, but only time will tell. :)
