Re: Rear axle, wheel bearing and much more...

I don't think the Blazer ZR2 axle will help. I think you will find it different than your Blazer too. It may not have those bumpstop pads. I just don't remember seeing them. I think you might be able to pick up a good used G80 diff for much less than the TrueTrak. I am not sure how I would feel abou...

Re: Rear axle, wheel bearing and much more...

I would not spend money on a new or used locking carrier for the stock differential. The stock differential is just too squishy and flexy. Personally, this would be a good time to upgrade to the ZR2 rear axle. You will be money ahead in the long run. Right now you are trying to upgrade, and repair. ...

Re: Anyone interested in Firearms and/or Edged Weapons?

Propane. I add silicone oil. Cheap plentiful and easy. I am totally new to this stuff. Once I read more about the TWA pistols and learned a little more, I thought I'd give it a try. I like it so far. "Keeping it real and the same feel." :) If they make what you wield in a good copy, I'd say it is wo...

Re: Aftermarket flares

Those are a pocket style flare. The only set of those I know that was made was one of our members here. KCustom made a one off set. That's probably KCustom's truck. Superlift used his truck as a testbed for the prototype 6" S-10 lift. He molded his own flares, and almost started selling them. I've s...

Re: Anyone interested in Firearms and/or Edged Weapons?

With the price and availability of ammunition somewhat difficult, I added another tool to the chest:

Anyone recognize it?

Re: EBCM question

Does the EBCM store the gear ratio? I thought all that was saved in the PCM. I say swap. No worries. I am thinking that the EBCM only looks at differences in the wheel sensor speeds to use in determine where to send the saved energy for the ABS system. As mentioned before the circuit board may have ...

Re: Started overheating......Q's needing answers.

Fantastic you got it figured out! I like the Taylor wires just for the boots. The sparkplug end if fused to the wire and terminal. Nice flat grip for removal too. Their silicone outer sleeve does a good job against the heat. I have the 409 10mm wires on the henryJ and Avalanche. The HenryJ may need ...
