that makes a good point , i forget about the fact that a sfa is not great as a daily driver plus I think a lifted IFS looks better . And yes , unless you need lots of articulation , or are running tires bigger than 35's , stregthening your IFS maybe the way to go , BUT i bet that it will cost you the same

Well , i think i will just touch it up with some touch up paint for now , I want to test or atleast see what light grey/med.grey bedliner looks like on a rocker before i go full force and start spraying paint ,

I would do nothin but i am begning to see surface rust ! very very light though .

ooops sorry about the pic size .
Anyway , that blue truck looks good , I was just worried because when you put bedliner on a contrasting color Ie: grey , white , red . it looks great . But if i put it on a black truck , it will look too much like I ma trying to make it match , which i am not .

Best way to fix "road rash" on doors

So on my blazer i have area's on the bottom corner edges of the doors , where the paint has been slowly "sand blasted" off due to driving on gravel roads and just general driving . I would like to Spray some bedliner on the area in the future ,(if anyone has pics of a BLACK s10 with sprayon bedliner...

seems about right to me , but if you buy a honda , well then you are driving a HONDA ! . You have to " pay a price" to drive something other than a honda/toyota etc . < they don't offer what I would look for in a new vehicle , Aside from the WAY overpriced TACOMA .

looks ok , better than a H2 that's forsure . But i just saw a comercial for the "regular" Commander and it says they START at $50,000 USDollars ! . that one must be hittin' close to $70K then . You could build you self a nicer truck for less than that .
or even buy a used H1 (which are way better )

I am not sure about the costs of a sas vs a 6"SL , but in the long run , a SAS would be better and maybe cheaper . you will have to replace worn front end parts with a IFS lift . it is almost a must . is the overall diameter( actual dia. ) of the 32"x11.5 much smaller than a 33x10.5 ?

I too felt the same way . But after some research I found that the people with the most problems were the ones who went with a 5-6" susp.lift . And people who were doing hardcore off roading . If you are worried about balljoints than consider a upgrade( if you can call it that ) to Moog Balljoints ....

The 4.3 can be turboed ( spelling?) but you would need to limit the boost if you stay with stock internals . Follow the above advice and check the Cyclon/typhoon forums . Most will have a classified section , you could probably find a used turbo there , since alot of people upgrade turbos for bigger...

well that sucks , i know what it feels like the tranny in my blazer went at 80000miles . but atleast you have a better warrenty , mine only had a 6mo warrenty .
also , mine is making metalic clunky sound when shifting from 1st to 2nd when slowly accelerating . So take good care of the new tranny .

The C5 vette is known as one of the best covettes made , Maybe not most powerfull but like you said it provides a comfortable cruise but great track qualities aswell .

damn that vette is nice , with a price under 100g's you cant go wrong , a comparable exotic , german would be 150k and up .

I would still buy a C5 vette over a some of the more expensive exotics .

If I could get away with out cutting the rear that would be great , but I don't htink that will happen . I know the front cutouts will fit but not the rears , with the rear door in the way , I think most of the cutting would have to be on the rear of the fender . But not using the cutouts would save...

well noting would surprise me . I have had the shaking return once , just after I disingaged the 4wd . I would think that it is "binding" if the 4wd didn't turn off . I have to find some sand or something to test it out .

Oh ! believe me . I understand what your sayin' . In 2.5yrs I have put about $5000 in repairs into this blazer . Tranny , 4wd computer ,4wd solenoid , Motor Mounts , Idler&Pitman arm , Water pump , Door Hinges , and a couple times for rattles and squeeks . All of it not covered by warranty .

Thanks for all the advice everyone . I will be doing a full tune up , air box mod , and maybe a high flow muffler in the next couple months . I think it is tired too , it was a lease return and was probably driven into the ground before i got it . Oh well you learn form your mistakes i guess . even though this one cost me a lot of $$$$$$ .

I tryed it in 3 , and did not notice any difference except the rpms were higher . And my tires were inflated to the max pressure . I don't expect much because my blazer is heavy . But the 4.3 can compare to some small v8's and I was just disapointed . I guess I just got a bad Chevy . one outa millio...

well there is something wrong , but I just don't know what . yet . I just broke down on the side of the road 2 hours ago , The battery was dead . So I am goin to go and get it checked out , and see why it won't stay charged . I figure it needs a tune up , but the blow back( steam/white smoke stuff )...

Well , yes my truck is in need of a tune up , and there is "blowback" coming outa the dipstick oil tube when i check the oil . I know that I may get better mpg with a 4.3l engine , but some of the hills in the rocky's around here are like 30-40mins drive up ! and when you have 3 summits to climb @ 4...
