Also upgrade the ground from the battery to the frame. Just to give you an example, I have beefed up my wiring a bit, and am running a red top, and my lights still fluctuate with the radio, or my AC, or my blinkers for that matter. I didn't notice alot of difference from the stock battery.

From what I've heard, the yellow top can put more of a strain on the charging system. My red top hasn't run down yet, and I've left the lights on plenty of times, and my KC's don't dim when the truck idles anymore. :lol:

I ran 31x10.5x15's with a 2" BL and TB crank without cutting or fender massaging at all, and I don't think I rubbed at all, even on bumps and such.

A body shop should be able to paint some of the 3D tail lights available. I'd stay away from black though, so chrome, or a matched color looks so much better with indigo blue. That was the color of my old Sonoma. I love the look much better than the color of my CC, but man was it hard to keep clean....

My G80 locks. :) I've been in the aforementioned situation only a few times, and it's locked every time. I also get a bit of chirping if I turn my wheels all the way left or right from a dead stop, and take off slowly.

There used to be powered versions of all Bazooka's unpowered tubes. I don't know how they do things now, but I think the powered tubes are completely different spec-wise from the unpowered tubes.

Ok, another update. At roughly 90-05mph, the engine speed drops by just over 100 RPMs suddenly. This isn't noticeable except for a gradual loss in power/acceleration.

I agree with Brule. A fuse at the battery is a must. You want it as close as possible to the battery. Mine accelerates strongly until I get between 90-95mph, and it starts to taper off, and barely makes it to 95mph with enough room. Before the HPP3, it would shift into OD at 90mph or so, but I still had the power loss between 90-95mph.

Fuel pump and filter are brand new. Plugs and wires are only a few months old as well. Haven't checked cap and rotor. That'll be on my list of things to do next. The drop off of power isn't gradual, it happens at just above 90 mph, with the same effect as when the TC does it's thing in OD, the RPMs ...

Yes, the HPP3 is set to 110 mph. Rev limiter is set to 5600rpms, and I'm at WOT, still in 3rd gear. Even if I manually keep it in 3rd, it still does it. But it never shifts into overdrive.

It's usually a good idea to run a bit larger size than you need if you ever plan to expand. No clue about the cruise control, but you might as well forget the gas gauge and devote all of your time and energy to the cruise control problem, as the gas gauge is hopeless IMO. Mine has been "fixed" several times, and it works better than it used to, but still doesn't work 100%. :lol:

A friend had a similar problem several years ago, with a 1996 Silverado. He could hit the gas and accelerate hard, but if he completelly floored it, the engine would bog down. It turned out to be the fuel pump, and he'd just had it replaced.

I ended up going with the Smith and Wesson Sigma 9mm. http://www.pistolskytte.org/info/vapen/SW_SW9VE.jpg It's a very light weapon, and feels very comfortable in my hand. Ok. Why do you prefer the .40? Greater stopping power is the main thing I can think of. Any other reasons?
