I believe the side moldings are also available from: www.gmpartsdirect.com as well. Logic would lead you to think that, but I've looked and was only able to find molding for either a standard or extended cab there. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot, if you can direct me I would appreciate it. Som...

LMC Truck - ZR5 Fender Flares Etc.
Me being new, I'd bet I'm the only one who didn't know about this source, but......I was seeking a source for the factory body side molding for a CC, and found this. I know I've read where some have questioned about a source for flares etc.. These guys are pricey, but it looks like they might have t...

Easier to replace when my boys break them. and cheaper, but then compared to the ones you guys have installed it might look like I'd be the guy to 'camo' his truck! Or that my next big home improvement project might be something to the effect of losing the axles and adding a permanent foundation? :l...

Hmmm...since my big 'D'....sorta been doing a little 'soccer mom' hunting, so to speak....a couple haven't seemed to mind. Of course without the blood letting. I don't think I'd mind the composite. Of course I won't be wheeling crazy either. Aluminum might in fact be stronger in some instance...

Thank you f9k9, and green, I had read that some time back. What I was hoping I guess was that there are specific years of specific vehicles to search for in a salvage yard to try and obtain plates that will work. I'm a 'cheap skate', and would prefer finding them used for say 5 to 25 bucks a piece, ...

Skid plate applications
I've seen in a few posts that many Blazers and non-CC S10's came with steel or aluminum skid plates standard. Seems they differ slightly from model to model and maybe year to year. Can anyone point me to a thread that actually runs down the years, models, etc. that would adapt, as close to a factory...

This may not be nearly as attractive as the cup holder pictured that you've installed Jim, but with my wrecking crew, um I mean....my boys, it is simple and easy to replace once they've, we'll say 'used' it. It is just a simple cheapo available almost anywhere for under $2, the ones designed to slip...

I was hoping that the Delta 'Champion' series would be better constructed, I've seen what you mean by flimsy. Since I have the ZR5 package I didn't want to lose the rails, so the fact that it sits down inside the bed looked attractive. WeatherGuard does make the same chest I had in a 36", but at les...

Anyone using one of these boxes?
In my '98 extended cab I used a 46" WeatherGuard chest box. It fit nicely ahead of the wells and worked like a water tight trunk for groceries and everything. I miss it. With the bed on the CC, it will obviously not work, so I've been searching for an alternative. the way I fastened it was a half in...

Fun link, thanks. They've some great clips available there to view. Like the hood accent, not sure that it is functional, rather for looks I would assume. Knowing what 'assuming' can mean. Wouldn't mind finding one of those in black like that. Mine is an '04 in white with the black accents in the ZR...

I can't stand admitting this, but I have to. I have been using the wrong names here, but that is obvious, I think. Alright, this is what I am thinking, please tell me if I am way off base. I am just not sure that I care to lift the truck, I actually like it as it sits, simply want a little more rubber. Soccer mom truck......ouch! Alright alright.....you made your point. In all honesty, I know you're right. I would probably be far happier with the overall appearance if I did lift it the minimum, and add more rubber. So a 2" body lift and 30x9.5 will have no issues. If I could ask, what would spacer...

Hey and hello one an all. Ultimate newbie here, trying to get a handle on a few things. Just traded my '98 S-10 for an '04 crew cab. My 8 year old is eternally grateful for the forward facing 'real' back seat, and not having to rely on his older brother for safe passage to and from. Anywho, I love t...
