The airbag light is intermittently going on and off. I'd like to remove the SIR fuse until I get it repaired.
If I remove the SIR fuse, will it cause the airbags deploy at random? (Obviously not by an accident)

The manual says if the light comes on, the airbags can deploy for no reason. Is this true?
I have never heard of this happening on any vehicle.

The overhead outside-temp display in my 2001 S10 intermittently displays very low temperature, like when its 95 outside, the display may display 35, then all of a sudden pop-up to the correct temp. Sometimes its off by 10 or 20 degrees.

Any ideas are appreciated.
