wow henryJ, Nice find on those south american chevy websites!!! those look cool (almost, except for the headlamps ::ugh::) Seeing one of those imported would be something unique. I'm confused on how they would fail the emissions. Why would GM manufacture their engines radically different from those ...

Re: :bonk : My head hurts! :bonk :

Welcome aboard :thumb: Your choice is going to be limited to pretty much what you have in the way of sizes unless you can locate a 29/9.50 all terrain style tire. Even a 30/9.50 will rub on inclined turns. Since you have little ones to worry about and if, your tires are not dangerously low on tread...

the infamous Brazilian Chevy S-10

Sort of found this by luck, a great find for a person like me. Curious what the GM market was all about in South America. I own an '03 S-10CC but don't know TOO much, but according to this website this truck originated in Brazil in 1995. I found one of these infamous Brazilian S-10CC's , The main di...

not so much a knife enthusiast as I am a gun enthusiast. I got my first texas trophy hunting sticker from a gun show for a buck. I currently use for hunting a 12 gauge Ruger over-and-over, 20 gauge Remington 7-shot pump, 410 Winchester shotgun, 300 weatherby mag, One non-scope single-shot Remington ...

Had a manual lever (2HI 4HI N 4LO) I use an '82 1500 burban 4x4 for hunting. It has the 4WD lever (hand-me-down 2nd generation truck, got it from my Father he used for h...

4WD performance

I bought my truck december 1st and used cruise control and that went out. I used the 4x4 a couple times too and depend on it. When I push the 4HI it blinks once and then stays solid. But the performance when off-road the rear wheel's seem to have spin and I'm not sure if the transfer-case is giving ...

hey thx HJ, my first suspicion was a fuse but I thought more electronics would have stopped working too. I'm going to check it out this weekend, I'm installing a 50 watt speaker and amp + PA system and hopefully I can fix it then.. (cruise control isn't vital) although I appreciate its convenience 8)

Concepts, recalling the history of future auto designs

Here are some "concept" design vehicles before they hit the market. Notice how much they differ from what is put in production. I'm starting off with a Chevy S10-style "2nd generation" made in the 1990's called the " highlander " that was "expected to hit the market" in 1993. A 2002 concept " Chevy ...
