Well I am glad I am not the only one. lol. Well, everybody except Jim.
I figured the S10/Sonoma dash looked solid. I wasn't expecting that many rattles. And your right Jim, that middle console isn't installed well at all.

Interior Rattling
Does anybody else have this problem? It drives me nuts when I have the radio down. Seems like its mainly that middle console piece. And then a few in the dash.
I just think it almost makes the truck sound cheap. Thats just me though. Just wanted to know if maybe my truck was just falling apart. lol

I just found out from my shop's mechanic that both of my ball joints are bad and need replaced. (was causing HORRIBLE tire wear on the front end with an occational knock when turning) The good news was the parts were only costing a little over $100, the bad news is it takes five hours of labor roug...

Stiff Stock Suspension
I have an 03 Sonoma ZR5. My suspension seems really stiff. Is this normal with the ZR5 package?
It seems like its starting to create rattles in my dash area which tends to annoy me.

Check out the JL Audio 4 inch. I think you can get them for $48 on Ebay. They are actually a 4 inch with a tweeter but they ship them with the 4x6 adapter plate. EDIT: Ok so I was right on the price but you still have to factor in the hefty shipping. Still though, JL is a great product. linked long ...

Ya I planned on trying to replace all the speakers at once. I do know that the rear speakers don't matter much, but I figure anything can be better than stock. Ya I could find that Kicker number on Ebay. I actually wanted to try and run all JL Audio but they don't seem to offer a shallow mount. I wi...

I was just trying to mount them in the normal stock locations. I suppose I am going to have to look for a shallow mount woofer. Thanks for the tip towards the Kicker. Also, I didn't even bother with the front doors yet. Am I going to run into this problem there as well? Or is the front door area dee...

My New Kenwood
Here is my new Kenwood DVD head unit. It fit nice!! Pretty cool and has some cool features. Though I must say there is a lack of some features I wish it had that even my old Kenwood CD player had. Still though I am happy with it. I got it for a steal! Sorry the pic isn't great. It is from a picture ...

Ok, so I tried installing some today in the rear door. No good. The woofer was too deep. It wouldn't fit. Now, the problem is, this was an open box set from my friend. So I didn't have any of the brackets or mounting rings that normally would come with the woofers. Not sure if that is what I was mis...

Nice setups everybody!! I am torn on what to do. I want some bass but I am not sure all those powered subwoofer setups will do me. I used to have nice systems back in my day and am worried I will get that hungry for loud again. I don't think those will do it. I am thinking about just building a wedg...

Well it was exactly what everybody said it was. Unfortunately I never had the time to get at is myself and it ended up at the dealer. $800 bucks later here I am writing this message. It's not so much spending that amount of money on my truck that kills me. Its the fact that it was put towards someth...

Ok, so change of mind here. I think with 20 inch rims and my ZR5 package, it just wouldn't look right. So now I am thinking about going with something different. Could I fit, say, and 18 inch wheel on there with some bigger tires on there with stock height? I want some clean looking rims but I still...

HVAC not working *solved - ATF fluid in vacuum lines
So Saturday I noticed I can no longer change the direction of my HVAC air. It is stuck on the dash vents. I can't get it to change to floor/defrost/etc. It still turns on and off. Also you can still adjust fan level and heater temperature. I just can't change the direction. Now, I did do some homewo...

Newbie Question About Lights/Turnovers
This may be normal but I want to make sure.
During the day when my daytime running headlights are on I noticed they turn off when I put my turn signal on. Is this normal?

Well thanks everybody! I appreciate it. I love all your guy's lifted and custom trucks, however, I am saving to buy a house and that kind of route is out of the question for me. Plus, I drive mine daily and would hate to loose any more gas mileage. So....I was thinking about putting some 18 or 20 in...

Stock Height 20s
So I was reading about a few people going for the "street" look. You know, like having a stock CC with 20 inch rims. I was curious if anybody here had any pictures of that? It is something I had an interest to see. I went through the gallery on here and didn't seem to notice any.
Thanks everybody!!
Thanks everybody!!

Hello Everybody!
Hey! I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris. I just bought an 03 Sonoma Crew Cab. So far I LOVE it. My only tiny complaint is of the gas mileage. I have owned 4 bangers my whole life and have to adjust to this V6 thing. This is my first ever 4x4 and I look forward to doing some moderat...
