Nasta ( brand name ones not the private label ones knock off ones the use carbon steel brackets) are some of the better ones. They use stainless bars AND mounting brackets and bolts. Carbon steel brackets promote corrosion.

Wait tunes are very popular on gmtrucks.com and have been around a few years. I was gonna get one before I sold my full size. There seemed to be a rivalary over there betwwen the $159 wait for me tune and the Westers tune for $800 (?).

A popular but cheap performance upgrade over at gm-trucks.com. I was seriously considering one of these if I kept my 2004 Sierra. Drive by wire really let GM kill the performance of that truck off the line.

IMO amped subs help fill in the low end that the stock stereo lacks. The Kenwood I had was nice but I like bass. The MTX thunderform and kicker amp gave me that. I am very happy with my stereo setup now even though I miss the extra storage.

How far back do the bench seats recline? My middle console is pretty loose and rattles alot. I like the 60/40 bench seats like my Sonoma had but cant remember how far they go back. I like to sleep in my truck when I get to work too early. :lol:

I have an ARE hard cover. It was on the truck when I bought it. It was water tight before I removed it. I guess I need to replace the tape. It covers the bed rail holes and covers the tailgate to make storing stuff in there secure.

Depends on what your taste is. I really don't like the "boomy" reverberational base of the bazookas or other ported bass. My favorite is the tight sound of "aucustic suspension" speakers, but the efficiency is really bad, cause it takes allot of power to drive these type of great sounding speakers....

Mines does it and I don't have the roof rack. My 2004 Sierra was even worse. I couldnt drive with the drivers side window down at all my ears would start to ache. With the crew I only have to deal with the rumbling noise and wait for the back window to pop out. LOL
