Yeah well i'll probably be bringing the truck in to the dealer to check what's going on? And i'm looking to buy myself the Shop manuals... I got some info that i could get the set of 3 at 175$ canadian..:D

Well my problem is without the brake applied and without being in park....it doesn't really matter.....they just don't come on....I think that i'll have to bring it in to the dealer to have a check at it....if i had the electrical schematic i could've isolated the problem but i only have the Haynes ...

Having DRL problems...

Does anyone had any problems with there DRL lights lately?? Mine won't come on...My high beams work fine. I don't have any blown fuses and the relay is working fine excpet that it isn't getting any current from the live feed..:S An electrical shematic would help alot...my truck is a 2002 S10 crewcab...

I installed a pair of Pioneer Tweeters this weekend and i'm pleased with the result! Almost makes me remind of my older Sonoma....lol... I plan on keeping my truck after the lease expires. And i hope to keep it past the 15yrs or 20 yrs mark....hoping that being a mechanic should help keeping the truck in tip top shape ;)

Yeah well i tried the mod and if i have any advice to others...stay away from this mod.....the damn oven cooked my lenses....mostly the bracket holding the fog lights :x :x :x ... So i had to run to canadian tire and buy some clear corner lenses for a 98 and up but without the factory fogs...still l...

It's more how he lowered the truck that i'm wondering...especially that our trucks are 4x4.... a 2x4 is easy to drop but a 4 wheel drive is much hard because of all the drivelines and components(t/c, front diff, driveshafts, axleshafts,etc..) But it's very nice! Wouldn't want to go off roading with ...

I'd have to look into this mod! It's very interesting and doesn't really cost much in parts....lol.....but i have to change my bulbs as well in the DRL and fog lights before i do the mod. so that i won't have yellowish and bright white lights mixed together :shock:

Well not having the access plate is not that all important if you want my opinion. it just takes a couples of minutes more to take off the plate and have more room to do you oil change. So having a full metal plate with no access panel wouldn't be such a fuss. Well that's what i think.

I have a littl question for ya Brule! Did you install your front hitch before or after your body lift? And if i installed it before a body lift would it be much trouble getting back to the same location after a body lift?

That would be nice.....i'm probably going to put a 10" in my truck....i miss the bass from my previous truck(Sonoma 1995 extended cab, 1x12",2x10", 1x350Amp, 1x1000Amp, 1x600Amp) Lots of boom!!! 8) 8) I as thinking of putting the sub under my seat? i'll wait and see how the MTx would be installed...

Well it is still under warranty...so if it breaks well they should repair it free of charge only problem here in Quebec is that the majority of the dealers, there personnel(mechanics and service men) have gone on strike...it's been almost one year now...and the dealers have made it a lock out...so g...

No it's not loose from going in and out...it's a loose from up and down...a vertical looseness;)

Front Drive shaft loose

I was checking my front drive shaft for some slack and as surprisingly it had alot of loose.... :? Is this normale??? I can understand a little slack but not too much either. and you can't grease the shaft on other models of trucks ....so no fix there.... Christian Jacques 2002 s-10 crewcab ls Val-b...

I'll be checking the salvage yards in the area thursday and friday for some plates.....would older model S10 plates fit on our crew cabs?(82-93) Or is it just the 94-03 extended cab 4x4 or just 4x4??? Thanks

No problems yet but my last Sonoma the hinges started to squeak alot :x So i just sprayed some teflon on and voil‡...no more squeaking...hehehehhe :D :D :D :D I'll probably doing the same to my Crewcab :wink:
