Not a problem...

Added strength really isn't necessary, IMO. It'd be more of a waste of rocker clearance to rotate them downward. Provided the sliders are built right, you'll bend your frame before you bend the sliders.

Chris no longer has the prints for the crew cab sliders, but said he'd be more than happy to make a set to your specifications. You'd have to come up with a print for what you want for him to make them from though.

S-Series Rock Sliders

You'll never bend them. You can (and people have) rest the entire weight of your truck on them without them breaking a sweat.

Having done it before, it takes me about 1/2 hour per side. I'd figure like an hour if you've never done it. A ratcheting 18mm (i think, might be 17mm) wrench helps a LOT for getting the bearing unbolted. Also, you'll need a deep 36mm socket to take off the axle nut.

HJ, do you have the link to where the guys said the underside was cracking and making a mess? I read a few reviews saying it was crackling (i.e. noisy), but none that said it was actually coming apart.

Will do. I might just replace them off the bat with bungee cords. For the rear, i'll probably sew in a couple of loops on the back of the hinged part so i can run a loop back underneath the seat. There isn't a difference in the front doors. Blazer, S10, Crewcab, Ext Cab... they're all the same. They might have different trim levels, but the door itself is the same.

If that were the case, they'd be more purple towards the base of the window... and the very back window woudln't turn purple at all.

From what i've been told, the purple is from people washing the tint with an ammonia based product (like windex)... it messes up the tint.

I did mine myself. You can buy it precut on ebay (i cut mine, but i'd buy the precut if doing it again).

Stock alternator with fans running I think you will find a voltage drop with the AC on. That means slower fan speeds and eventually heating problems. Mine are tinted at 35% in the front (which comes out to 28% after the factory tint). I had 15% before, which is very close to stock, but I got pulled over and had to remove it. Aaaand... turns out the March pulleys are actually 1.65", I must've been mistaken on the 1.875". So the MSD pulley did absolutely nothing in my favor (aside from look really cool). It did push the belt out about 3/16"... is that a big deal? It just looked like the belt was running on a slightly diff...

Will do! I doubt i would have needed the pulley if it weren't for my March Pulleys (the alternator came with a stock sized pulley on it), but we'll see. I really have no issues going to a different alternator if it means being able to keep the pulleys, as they make a definite difference in the truck...

My pulley is a 1.875"... this one's a 1.650"... I'd think it'd bring the alternator speed up just enough to produce adequate power again at idle.

So i just installed a set of March Pulleys and this 200a alternator. It quotes 75 amps at idle, but the meter drops down to like 11V at normal idle. This is with headlights and stereo on... no other accessories. I did add a 4ga wire from the alt to the battery... would adding a 4ga ground be necessa...

If you're looking to reduce sway and you have air shocks, install a valve to seperate the shocks, otherwise, as one compresses, it pushes the other one out more... and induces more sway.

You can easily do it yourself. If you look along your exaust, you'll see 3 or 4 sensors coming out of the pipe at a 90º angle. hmmm... if one didn't do this, would it have any effects while driving? Like say, vibrations?
