Update on the Colorado, highway mileage about 23 mpg, around town, around 17-17.5. Better power, and a much better ride. The only thing I don't care for is the after market radio. I'll try to find an OE radio which would suit me better.

Re: What did you do to your Crew today?

It's with great sadness that I said goodbye to my crew yesterday. Too many things needing attention that I couldn't see spending any more money on it. It needed a complete exhaust, rear calipers were starting to stick, started to leak gas at the filler neck when filling up, and it developed a drive ...

I have the same problem, but nothing to mount the clips to. I got a fiberglass repair kit and used the fiberglass mat to reattach the flares to the bed. My body work isn't the greatest, but at least the flares don't wave at you going down the road.

I've never seen a copper line with a steel liner in it, the only other thing I've seen has been a double strength copper, but it too fatigues fairly quickly.

Re: ZR2 rear axle upgrade.

Copper doesn't have the strength of steel, plus it is subject to fatigue failures. It is not allowed in W Va. for brake lines at state inspection. I have seen many failures of copper when used as brake lines, as the practice was common here because copper is easier to bend and flare.

Re: Chasing an ATF Leak

Reed, prayers going out for the both of you. If there's not fluid on the ground, I don't think that it is a problem. I'm in agreement with HJ that it may only be a case of slightly over full in the transmission.

Re: Replacemnet gas tanks?

I left about 6:30 am, got back about 6:30 pm. One of the most organized yards I've been too, too bad it's 225 miles away.

Re: Another Former Crew Owner

You gus are lucky, my cc gets anywhere from 20 mpg on a trip to about 9 mpg during the winter warming up. Any where from 12 to15 mpg around town.

The Woodward Dream Cruse is awsome! If you watch long enough, you'll see just about anything on wheels. I'd love to go again, but thats a long shot for the near future.
