the flare was damaged prior to the accident (don't tell my insurance company haha) and was already on order from another member who just happened to be selling the one i needed.

the collision buckled the frame where the hitch/bumper mounts. the hitch/bumper were angled 30 to 40 degrees down

got the truck back about a week ago. everything from the behind the cab is new!

...bed, bumper, hitch, a flare and fresh paint!

$ 5,000 on someone else's bill

transmission and front suspension were rebuilt last thanksgiving... new tires a month ago... I almost have a new truck!

Finally got under the hood over the weekend and took out the blower motor... sure enough it was stuck. I pulled out the resistor and it didn't have any visible signs of going bad. after a closer look. I got it to blow again, but not until I turned the fan on 4. If I am looking at this right, the belt is running, but the pulley isn't turning. It comes and goes... bad relay somewhere?

The S-10 is perfect for my needs... Agile and manuverable off road. Better fule mileage on average. A backseat that is just as big if not bigger than a fullsize truck. I lost over a second with my truck on the quarter mile after i installed 30s. I have the 3.42 gears. It really doesn't feel like I have lost too much power or acceleration tho in the first two gears. It will still reach 98mph with out any trouble. I have 3.42s with 33s! I am also planning on an HPP...

3.73's are "adequate" for me... I use that word liberally. I'd love to go with 4.10's if $$ allowed. It probably has something to do with the sweltering climate down here. Using the calculator link from the home page, my calculated new gear ratio should be 3.89 which is right in between 3.73 and 4.10 ... would there be a big difference between the two? I need to have this done sometime soon. The truck is sluggish to accellerate at highway speeds.

I just switched wheels to 4.5" bs with 33x10.5 tires and cut out flares. When I went in to have the new tires mounted on my new wheels I was informed that my pass. side ball joint and idler arm are in need of replacing but that wear and tear was with stock wheels and 30x9.5 tires.

The overall difference in section width is only about a 1/2" when mounted on a 7" rim. The difference in weight comes into play in the tread widtth. Man do these things look AWESOME!!! yep... I figure while I'm adding to the stops, I may as well stuff the 10.5s under the truck. The 9.5s look like pizza cutters after seeing the 10.5s. I'll try and get some pics as soon as I can.

*I think I found them, about 1" long hex pieces on the lower control arms? How much needs to be added to them? How much does it take away from the turning radius?

The local shop is getting me 2 33x9.5s for a test fit on the front on Monday... That's probably the direction I'll go. Maybe that 1/2" is all I need?
