I've used the Zq8 box through 2 trucks now and it's always been good... I topped it off by replacing my intermediate shaft with one from a 98 Grand Cherokee... Quicker repsonse and no slop from a crappy rag joint (the grand cherokee and jeeps in general use a u-joint system)

PAC makes a wireless interface that can work with those controls of the steering controls and transmit via IR to the head unit...Runs about 50 bux from crutchfield...Not difficult to do..

What do you think about the setup being weaker now? The area that held the steering "forces" was split over the whole 5-1/4+ piece, now, the contact point/area is much less, do you think this should be a concern? Not weaker what so ever, the stability factor of the entire shaft has actually improve...

I'd like to point out it's also against federal law to do that. If someone decides to look (state trooper pulling you over for instance) You can get fined out the ying yang (avg fine=10,000)... Also if your state has emissions testing, it will auto fail you.

The lowest price I could find on a fuel filter for my 2002 2.2 was $35. That is a foreign made one. The American made one was about $45. These things will last to 100G unless something bad goes wrong...and mine is gonna make it too...ha ha. They tell you to bleed the fuel pressure before changing.....

Don't forget, running your tbars up that much, your truck now needs an alignment... You may have trouble getting the tow to the correct angle with the way it's pitched now. Get it aligned!

Rancho makes a kit for our trucks in the rancho 5000 series... It uses the stock mount on the frame and an adapter for the non steering stablilzer cross link.. Runs about 50 bux...All parts are included in the kit...I've run this kit in 2 trucks and makes a world of difference...
