Re: Anyone interested in Firearms and/or Edged Weapons?

It's a good way to go. If you build as a pistol first you can make a rifle from it later if you want and back to a pistol ( Mind having the short barrel on with the stock, NFA NO NO unless you pay the tax man his blood money!) Make sure it transfers as OTHER/FIREARM on the 4473 NOT as a pistol or ri...

I figured I was close either KWA or WE. You running Green Gas or using the adapter to run from propane? I was looking at the WE G17 Gen 4 clone myself as a practice gun but I picked up the real G23 first. Will get the other at some point.

There are a number of FB gun pages as well as armslist but for some reason everyone thinks used guns are worth new prices right now and few GP100 's show up. I can get new but $700—750 depending on model and finish is a bit steep!

I wonder if the steering gear box would work in my Tahoe if it's still around? Mine is about kaput.

Wheel bearing #4

As header says I am now on my 4th right hand wheel bearing in the crew since I got it in 2004 75K on the rig, 2 failed due to ABS sensors getting corrosion in them and 2 the bearings themselves went. Sure wish these were a sturdier design and yes there have been 3 different after market brands so it...

Re: shocks

Re: shocks

The RSX's have been discontinued so the part number is no longer on their site you might find it on Amazon or somewhere like that. Looks like the bilsteins are the way to go now.

Re: shocks

I still am OK with my Rancho RSX shocks, I might like the ride better on Bilsteins but without a local ride to test them out I have no way to compare. 6 years and about 60K on them and counting.

Re: Critters invading my CC!!

I thought I had killed my Red Top this winter, had not driven the crew all winter but had charged the battery in about December then truck got buried under snow for the rest of the winter. Battery flatlined and froze. Two weeks ago I went to get it running, brought the still mostly frozen battery in...
