I used rustoleum with the hammered finish on my ZR2 and on a 94 ss I recently picked up.

It gives it a slick easy to wash finish and looks good too.

I had a clunk on my 95ZR2 and found it to be the sway bar end link bolt is broke.

Also found that my idler arm is wore out as well when I rotated tires this weekend.

Needless to say it hasn't been driving very well lately.

Our wheels are actually 8" wide if you measure outside to outside, but they measure them from bead to bead on the inside.

And I see what your saying about a 31" tire on a 7" rim versus an 8" or other size.

I think they would be different, minimal but different.

I believe it has seek up and down, mute and the volume buttons.

I'm not sure if it goes through presets I really don't use anything but volume and mute.

Some of my buttons didn't work very well either. I took mine apart and cleaned the contacts and just kept working them and they started working.

Well except for one the seek but I don't use it anyway.

The one I got was from a different year also. The airbag clocks were different on the connector ends. Yours may be the same. Mines a 2002 also and the controls were from a 1999 I think. Check the connectors if they are the same you may be plug and play. The connector modification was my only mod.

Well, I did this tonight walked at least 150ft away and it worked.

But don't the parking lights flash when you lock the doors?

Now mine doesn't I think I might have gotten it a little to hot.

Everything else works though, just my luck.

I have no resonance in the cab. No real milage improvements, but not sure.

I do have headers also, my 95Z gets between 15 and 20 depending on how much highway driving I do.

I have a Gibson on my 95 Z and I really like it. But it also has headers

Also on my crewcab I have a Flowmaster muffler only. It has stock pipe still and is fairly loud at start up, but then quiets down.

I think it's louder than the Z.

They don't use the telephone line for directv internet anymore with the newer systems.

Wow I didn't realize that the 235/70's are almost 1" shorter than the 235/75's.

235/75's overall diameter 28.88

235/70's overall diameter 27.95

I ordered my truck with the 235/75's.

I think somehow dirt, dust and especially road salt is getting in there and stopping up the drain holes and causing the corrosion.

At minimum wash it out and put plugs back in.

I usually wash mine out every 2 or 3 washes.

Try disconnecting the battery and see if it resets the system

I've been meaning to mention this for a while but kept forgetting. If anyone has not removed the rear plugs from the bottom of your cab I would definitely recommend it. I've seen lots of s10's and silverados with rusted out cab corners and its because of those plugs. All that salt and dirt gets trap...

Good luck trying to find the Niehoff east of the mississippi nobody around here carries them anymore.

Had to change the regulator on my 95 CPI and thought I would go ahead and change cap and rotor, cost me a total of $62 at autozone for a duralast cap with brass contacts.

You should have a plug at the base of your steering column where column goes through floor. You need the airbag clock because there's no wiring for the controls in yours. You'll have to cut a few zip ties to get the old wiring out. Just #1 thing to remember try to get same model year for correct plu...

Yes I have done it and I think Jim did as well.

If possible try and get one out of same year as your truck. I had a problem with mine, the air bag clock plug at the base of column was a little different. I had to modify it a little to make it work.

So it is possible.
