I think I used straight ammonia in a spray bottle when I peeled mine with a razor blade and I don't remember it being too difficult. But that was several years ago. Worth a try, even though this is an old post.

Yeah, mine ( front) only stuck out an inch and a half and he broke my chops about it. He even took down the # of the inspection station that inspected it and was going to give them crap. A little overzealous :!: I had my wife and kids with me too. Nothing better to do I guess.

My first vehicle when I got my license 21 years ago was a 1964 Chevy shortbed stepside w/ a Hi-torque 230 and 3-on the tree. I beat the crap out of that truck and it never broke. Oh the memories :lol: Paid $350 for it and definately got my moneys worth out of it.

Only cost $42.50, emission exempt, under 5k miles. :D Will need to do brakes soon,did a search and sounds like I need ceramic pads. Probably go w/ NAPA ( HJ-approved). Maybe I'll even give it a bath today since it's so nice outside. Getting to be scooter-ridin' temps here! :D

If you only want to fit 31's under your truck you don't need to spend $2500 plus on a suspension lift :nono: . Just do the body lift and if you aren't satisfied with that check out HJ's Mystery Lift- still much cheaper than a SL and less headaches also

Something else to think about- bias ply tires and cold= flat spots. I've had several sets on different vehicles. The humming never bothered me, actually kinda liked it. But the first 5-10 min. on a cold morning always sucked until the tires warmed up and the flat spots went away. Just my .02

I often wondered about this. I know it is not good to run 2 diff. size tires on the same axle. I imagine it would be more of an issue on the rear axle but probably on the front also if 4wd is engaged. All of my prior trucks before this one had at least 35's on it. Haven't had any problems since but like I said I don't drive it that much since I have a company truck. Probably only 3 or 4 tanks of gas since October. Still haven't needed to put in the Moog BJ's but I've got them for WHEN I need them.

I was seriously looking at the Xterra when I found my Blazer. 3" bl plus 3"sl and 35's :D I just couldn't find one for under 10k. Got the Blazer for less than that already lifted. I was hoping to find an Xterra SC lifted with some goodies for @10k but that just didn't happen :( Cool trucks though IMO

I bought a Sony 53" almost 5 years ago now and if it died tomorrow it would not owe me a dime. That tv is on sometimes 12 hrs a day on the week-ends between me and the kids. I'd definately buy Sony again. I have also had good luck with 2 smaller JVC's- one 20+ years old, still kicking.

I did back off the t-bars and the tires are toed out at the bottom. It feels like the suspension is super soft. I guess its a good thing I don't drive it all the time or I'd be doing the sfa REAL soon!

I'm new here but I gotta know- Warn why did you sell your CC? That's a badazz lookin' truck. I just got rid of an 03 SD and got my Blazer but I got a company truck and didn't use the SD anymore. Anyways the CC is one sweeeet looking ride!
