I agree with HJ, sounds like the cat is busted, it should be covered by an 8yr 80,000 mile federal emissions warranty. Your dealer will replace it under that warranty.

I noticed a rattling noise at start up the other day and when I opened the hood, I found the sattle bracket bolt loose. I remember putting it on as tight as it would go, so I guess I saying thanks in a round about way.

With my spacers that I sold to Sonoma915 (I think :lol:) One had a slight wobble to it. It was somewhat noticeable at 30 MPH. There may be a special tool available to hold the strut while turning the nut. Look at the top of the strut where the nut is, there may be a torx or some other way to counter hold it on the strut itself. Usually when I do a strut I use an O2 sensor wrench. Got everything in and working, the only thing I dont understand in the range. I filled up the tank and it said I had like 340 miles, I know that isnt right. I have reset the other things, just cant figure out the range. Any suggestions? Is everyone else experiencing this?

Installed the overhead console last night, all in all took about four hours. I trasfered my map lights, due to my repacements being worn. So far things are looking good. Anyone know how to program the garage door opener?

Just roll a window down, ock the truck with the remote and manually unlock and open the drivers door. I think they work off of the dome light signal. I will try tonight.

I would check the trans fluid, I had a the RPM hunt a couple times in overdrive. The trans fluid was low. My power steering did the same thing your talking about, I noticed I could give it a little gas and it would turn fine. It was the power steering pump. Replaced under warranty. Hope this helps.

Maybe you could fit one in the storage compartments in the back? I dont have a blazer, but that would be the most logical spot. You could also get an outside mount like HJ's and put a battery where the spare goes, I would also use a heavy duty battery box.

Its not exact, but our yellow is a hard color to match. My painted tail lights took two times to get the color close. It still looks good!!! Now you can focus on your fender flares!!! :D

I think that you have had your OEM shocks on so long, anything but OEM wiil feel like an improvment! I changed mine at 35K and could tell the difference instantly.

When I diagnose wheel bearings, I find an empty parking lot or a safe strech of road, go about 40 mph and turn to the left or right like making a fast lane chenge. If the noise changes then you just need to find out which side is faulty. You can also use chassis ears, but the top method works for me...

Hey high-voltage, I had a problem with my light. The little guide tabs that hold the bottom of the headlight in weren't lined up correctly. It was a mo-fo, but with patience it went right in. Try to check that. There might be a little play if you push the headlight. Hope this helps.

Welcome Blackmobile!!! I bought a warranty from the dealer I work for. It is a Continuis Customer Care Platinum warranty with $0 deductible 6yr/100000mile for $1285. Its even better cuz I get to do the work. Of course I will have extra parts for after the warranty runs out. :)

I was only playing. Alot of the cars I work on are fly by wire, the only draw back is that when the throttle body takes a dump you have no control over the accelerator. Its always nice to have the cable as a back-up. :)
