What size subs? That volume air space sounds about right for a sealed box for one sub. You'll want about 1.4 cf of air space for both. You'll have to take into account the width of the MDF board and the amount of space the subs will take up also. If you plan to do this yourself, you'll need a 4x8 sh...

Not sure if this has been mentioned already or not, but its also very easy to let the PCM do the fan "switching" for you. Especially if you already have a custom tune done to your computer. I've set this up with my computer already and just tapped into that pin to switch on the fan. I can set on/off...

I've been doing some research myself to figure out how to enter tow/haul mode with my truck (2wd 01 4.3L Noma). I have HPtuners to tune my truck and found out that inside the software you need to set how the mode is turned on. Stock it looks for the class 2 signal from the BCM. I also have the optio...

I only replaced the turn signal bulbs with yellow colored ones to keep it sort of legal. And they only appear yellow when your looking at them from straight on. As you walk to the side the yellow starts to fade off. It still looks 150% better then it was (especially with my billet grille)

I've also done this to my Sonoma headlights. I forget what temperature I set the oven at (probably around 250). First I let the oven heat up fully, then I took a baking pan and placed the headlight lens down on it (don't worry, it will not scratch it or melt it). I left it in there for about 2 minut...

Maybe a better solution would maybe be to install an keyless entry system, and make use of the "aux" (or trunk) button that most of them have. You just need a switch thats can be electrically turned off and on. Plus you benefit from the alarm, remote start or just keyless entry on the remote.

Not sure if you did it yet but here are some more tips. You can run the ground to the frame and it'll be fine. Just take some sandpaper or steel wool and clear a spot on the frame, then put a bolt through it. As for the positive wire, you can do what the others said and run it to the fuse box. What ...

What I did was put a simple on/off switch under my dash hooked up to the door senser. That way I can have my driver's door open, but the truck doesn't know it and the radio keeps playing. I'll wire up the passenger door senser one of these days as well. Just find the door senser and there will be tw...
