Just put another good one on the crew. So far, my dent tally is 7..... 1 on the body and 6 on the bed.

I keep telling myself I should make a set of bedrails out of some spare diamondplate I have..Sure enough, i dropped a chain right on the top of the bed this afternoon :x

the stuff is holding on pretty well but it is fading and after a couple of days on the jobsite, it gets pretty dusty/muddy. The front looks the best with the a-arms, etc. looking all black but I know that come winter, more rust will come.

I'm looking into replacing my exhaust and I am thinking of bypassing a muffler all-together and just putting a y pipe for the duals.. How would it sound? Or am I better off just replacing with a flowmaster or dynamax?

I'm not too keen on rims but if you want to push the rears out, maybe order rims with 1.25" backspacing more than the fronts. I've got 1.25" rear spacers and the rear treads the same as the front. You will not be able to rotate your tires normally if you get different offset rims

I think alot of us would not do anything more than 6" becuase of state lifting laws. texas and florida, you're ok but just about everyone else has to stick with something a little less extravagant.

When i drive to school in upstate NY, from RI, its all uphill. 31's with 3.42's, man I get around 8-10 mpg becuase I am always in 3rd gear climbing uphills on the highway. But on the way back, I get close to 16-18 mpg an i am gonna guess i average 1300 rpm's

is there a difference with these two styles? The pictures of the beds on trucks look the same. I am talking about the beds on extended cab and regular cab trucks.

yeah I saw that post a while back too. I didn't see an email on the site so i sent a message through ebay. I doubt it got to him. The place that does the conversion was in upstate New York about 1 hour from my school. Wish he contacted me ... :?

I've decided to hold onto the crew for a bit longer but I am interested in this.... I have been seriously thinking about having my truck cut in halve professionally, extended, and dropping a long bed from a regular cab or extended cab pickup on the extended cab chasis. you can still get away with the rear sunroof....i did 8)
