my theory, and you can laugh all you want, is locate a wrecked zr2 and try and buy the suspension components to somehow adapt to one of our trucks. If the frame is the same then somehow it can be done. If that is then done buy the bds-suspension lift for the zr2 which can jack the truck up 8" higher...

I am not to familiar with how the zr2 suspension setup is but are the frames the same width? If not then I wonder if the leaf springs are different and can bolt up to our trucks? I'm sure there is more to it up front though... just a thought ... I saw a rolled zr2 outside a junkyard and i was waonde...

Yeah I'm probably going to do the same a2b....Now that I have installed the body lift, I am going to have to reweld extra pieces and I'm thinking of adding diamond plate as a skid plate... It should look good 8)

Ok I'm stupid, I started the truck before putting the fuse to the airbag back. Now my airbag light is constantly on. I tried disconnecting the positive terminal to the battery thinking it would clear the code but it didn't. Do I have to go to the dealer and have them clear it?

Ok guys, My body lift is now on. It took me 7.5 hours to complete and might I say WOW! I measured it and I got around 2.5". These trucks should come from the dealer looking like this... fosgate 400x2 with a 8" square kicker l7 in a custom made box with .33 cubic airspace.. This is very loud, very crisp and sounds better than my 12 I had in a jeep wrangler.

OK I just went to my 4wd auto place and asked for the body lift #192 from PA. They told me that retail was $299 and they could sell it to me for $260. At the mod info page under crewcab2ya.com, it is said to have a price of $125. Does anyone know where i can get it for that price?
