Has anyone replaced the bulbs behind the numbered buttons on their factory radio? What is the procedure?
The bulb behind my 3 and 6 buttons just went out.

I bolted it up to my truck today. I didn't realize how straight-forward the installation would be.. I only had to drill one hole in the frame rails a little larger.

I've looked at Valley Industries and Reese. Both appear to only have a 3500lb capacity.

You are correct, those are renderings done by Chris Horton, a regular over at camaroz28.com. There is a VERY strong rumor that the Camaro name could possibily be brought back for the the 2007 model year, however it more than likely be part of a different platform. R.I.P. F-Body.

I could get pictures, but all your going to see is the stock tailgate and driver's side kick panel.

The only evidence of the lock being installed is the wire loom that runs on top of the frame rails and through the firewall on the driver's side.

Yes, it is opererated with the factory power locks. So whenever I unlock/lock the cab the tailgate does the same.

I have a 2" body lift and run 30x9.5" Dunlop Mud Rovers on 15x7" wheels with 4.5" of back spacing. If I hit a bump while turning (ex: entering my driveway) the tires rub the rear of the front fenders. I just haven't gotten a chance to go at it with tinsnips and a BFH.

The only other idea I had was to put a diode on the green and yellow wires and hook them directly to my added brake light.

This would cause the light to be powered whenever a signal was received from either wire, and no current to travel "back" through the system.
