I'm not sure how well this is known but did you see these two vehicles get a V8 in 08. I guess following suit to the Hummer H3 now the Canyon and Colorado get a V8.

The mickey Thompson MTX's offer excellent snow traction and work well in the mud. Their probably a little louder on the street than the BFG's but nothing like a true mud tire on the street. To make the front install easier, install the shocks from underneath and not from the top. Jack up the front of the truck. I do quite a bit of towing with a camper of about 3500 pounds. I put air shocks on to help with braking and a sagging rear end. I don't think they really reduce sway though. I would recommend towing in 3rd and what really made a difference in reducing sway was installing a friction anti-sway device....
