Im still just curious as to why gm list the g80 as a limited slip? From what I understand it doesnt have a clutch pack like other limited slip diff's does it. I know it sure doesnt act like any limited slip I have had in a truck before.

I used air shocks on my crew for towing my 13ft enclosed trailer. They worked fine. I know have the spring kit that hj made a thread on awhile back. The bosie springs kit I think that was the name of it.

Yeah picked up a optima red top battary about a hour after I wrote the above. I played around with the ingnition switch for awhile to see if that might be it. It hasnt done it agian and I have been running since I picked that optima up this afternoon. If it starts doing it again I let you know.

Hj maybe right. I didnt get off work in time to get to the salvage yard but Ill get a chance next saturday. Im not even sure it will work. I am pretty sure the mechanical part will be simple to work out but I have no Idea about bcm issues yet.

HJ Should i flush the transmission or just do a filter fluid change? 35,000 miles changed fluid and filter at 15,000 and ready to do it agian. Just didnt know if it was worth it or not.

ok so far I have found out you have to replace the selector shaft that the motor turns to engage the transfer case. Then just about any lever assy that gives you the clearence you need will work.

I am thinking its the crazy blaze at least that was the name they called it in the short write up on it. It also had the same add ons his had. It had a dana 30, home made rock sliders, and 33's , custom front bumper , and a few other things that just stood out and mady me think it was the crazy blaze.

a big block wont fit with out major firewall mods. Not to mention steering colum clearence issues and many many more fitment issues. It can be done just a lot of fab work.

yeah I know with my cherokee many didnt want to go where I tried to go. I had the whole thing linxed and just ran through bushes and small trees LOL. My winch came in handy a lot then. Before the winch I just used my hi lift though.

and for packing bearings with grease just put you some wheel bearing grease in a zip lok bag drop in your bearing and squeeze it around till you have the grease squeezed all in to the rollars of the bearing. Or you can buy a bearing packer tool at auto zone or what not for about 15 dollars I think. ...

ok cool I was just looking to match the back windows. I think the back is dark enough. So AZ and TOP you guys did 20% on top of what was on the back also?

I like that cover on Bads hood I will have to look for one of those to.

Window tint

Ive noticed a few people on here with 20% tint on there front windows did you guys do the back also or does the 20% match the stock tint on the back? Was going to tint my fronts next weekend I just need to know what % to buy. Thanks in advance.
