That's the kind that I have. They are called modulars. As far as I know, they are safe. Only, you have to watch how the font portion locks down. Some are made cheaply and may come open on impact. Back To Black is a pretty good product. Just be sure to really buff off the excess as per Mother's instructions. It can leave streaks down the paint after a rain if used on the door handles and such.

Someone sent me a black vinyl one that must have been traced from the bowtie and cut it out. It's the same as graphics vinyl and has held up well. I have seen bulbs at the local Advanced Auto Parts or Auto Zone that are chrome im color but light up amber. Supposed to be for that "true" clear corner look. Just replacement bulbs. No need for LED. I have not tried them though. Anyone else heard of these?

There is a regular seller on EBAY that offers stainless steel ones for $129. Pauleo bought a pair and seemed happy with his before he traded his CC. Just do a search for "S-10 Crew Cab" on ebay. I used to have to remove my tint before inspections when I lived in PA. It's a bit of a pain. Just peel what you can get a hold of first. Then you have to use a razor blade window scraper. Get yourself a good quality adhesive remover and lots of rags because you'll have tons of glue on the windows. ...
