Ordered the Rancho RS 5000's on Saturday. I hope to have them Tuesday or Wednesday and I'll hopefully install them the day I get `em! I can't wait to feel the difference!!!

What to buy??? ( Rancho Shocks )

My CC is a 2001 and with approx. 50k miles. I want to either replace the shocks or give it new plugs & wires. I can't make up my mind what to do and I can only do 1 or the other. Any suggestions? :lol:

Yeah, I don't do any off roading to speak of. Although I WANT TO BADLY and given the chance I would!!!! All my driving is paved surfaces. So I don't think I need anything heavy duty. Just something that will make the CC ride more like a truck. And, of coarse, be durable.

When I changed the bulb color in my dash to red, I painted the faces of my needles red. I wished I would have known that I could have popped the needles off, scrape off the orange & paint THAT part instead. It would have looked a whole lot cleaner. I just installed one of these on my CC. Anybody have any experience with them? I don't think I have any performance gains, and the truck isn't much louder. Yet the muffler shop told me it would open things up a lot more than stock. I guess we'll see.

American Racing makes a few. But when I was looking, I really didn't like any of them. Try www.wayneswheels.net . They are out of California and are real good to work with. Also, the rims I bought from them were less expensive than if I bought them locally. And that was even with the shipping added!...

...I used some CAT5 cable to extend and mount my CB's controls inside the garage door opener compartment, so when I open that, my CB's faceplate swings down with it... Hmm. When I put mine in, I noticed the idle RPM went down and the engine made a much cooler sound :wink: when I stepped on the gas! But as for gas mileage, I didn't notice any difference.

HJ's Caliper paint link is the stuff I used. Check it out. it has the instructions right there on the site. The paint seems to be holding up well aslo. No visible cracks or chips after the 6 months or so that I have had them done. EDIT: Also, don't worry about having enough paint. Paint those layers...
