Thanx. I love the extra room too. I was fortunate and actually found an Access Tonneau cover in stock at my local Ziebart. Nerf bars are on the way as my wife has "fallen" out of the truck 2x :)

Price out the door was just over $21K.

Crew Cab Traded

Traded in my 04 CC last night. I pick up my 06 Silverado Extended Cab tomorrow. It just came of the truck yeaterday.

Nothing wrong with the CC just wanted a slightly larger bed and didn't use the 4x4 (maybe only used it once or twice).

Ignition power tap point

I just bought a Garmin 2620 and I want to hardwire the power. Where's a good place to tap off so it will shut off with the ignition? Right now it's rigged to my fuse box but it looks terrible.

I have a BC-3000 handheld I purchased in 1997. It's a great little scanner. It picks up everything including cell.

I always though scanners in vehicles we illegal in Ohio but http://www.ncsl.org/programs/transporta ... htm#table2 states otherwise.

I have http://www.realtruck.com/products/accstan.php and it works great. No water and easy to install on the inside.

I didn't buy from them since it was quicker to get it locally.

I just received my bulbs in the mail today from Sylvania's sale - both high and low. The weather here finally stopped raining so I was able ot wash the truck. OK... where do I find my gear ratio on the truck? It's not on the glove box sticker or the doors.

I did find it on my original dealer sticker. I have 3.42 gears.

I'm all stock except for my bed cover and 4x4 sickers. I know the bed cover will help the mpg.

I wonder if the addition of stickers on the sides increased the drag :lol:

I have never gotten 19 - 20. It's always 17 - 18 max (I track it on a spreadsheet). I drive 70 - 75 mph though so I 'm not sure how much I would gain if I dropped to 65. If I did 65 on the freeway to work, Iwould get run over 8)

It is really nice to just push the aux button and what ever is plugged into the RCA jacks plays through the stock stereo :D also no more batteries for the Irock and trying to find a clear station while traveling Excellent! Accoridng to autotoys.com this is what is required: http://www.autotoys.com/x/cust/product.php?productid=3392&cat=0&page=1 However, I wimped out and bought a Belkin TunCast II last night. I wired it into the cigarette lights and it fits neatly in the ashtray. It was 39.99 so it will work OK for now....

I was bored this AM so I did some looking. It appear that nothing is available for my 04 at this time. GM changed somethinbg and the PAC site states that the 04 s-10 etc... are excluded from their lists. Hopefully soon.
