I've owned 3 s-series. 2000 Jimmy, 2001 Blazer & 2002 S-10. If space wasn't an issue, I wouldn't mind another S-10 like the one I had. It was a fun truck and waaaaaayyyy better looking than the POS Colorado. I don't think I'd buy another S-series SUV though. Underpowered and not much interior room.

It's a FWD 3.9 V6 with 240hp/241tq

It's very peppy. It will paint two nice long black marks very easily with the T/C turned off. I would never do that of course. :evil: 8)

Only window tint so far. I probably won't do much to it. Maybe an air intake of some sort but nobody makes one for it yet. Honestly, it really doesn't need much!

When I had my 2002 S-10 I removed the stock single CD and installed a 6-disc from a 2003 that was a take out. It worked fine and then suddenly wouldn't load CD's anymore. Truck was still under warranty and I took it into the dealer and they ordered a brand new unit and replaced it. :D

Regardless of all the different reasons, I'm still impressed with how well that Bonneville did fuel economy wise. I can tell from a dead stop the Malibu would walk all over the Bonne though.

Uh, backwards. Lower gearing = higher RPMS

The Bonne was actually geared higher, had less HP and about 400 lbs more curb weight yet got better mileage! Go figure :!:

It's kinds funny that the Malibu doesn't get 30mpg, esepcially considering it's not that large. Our 2003 Bonneville would always get at least 30mpg on road trips. I took a few by myself for work and got 32! That's also running at least 75mph and the Bonneville is a larger, heavier car than the Malib...

Well I sure hope it all works out and you can fix is fairly easily. Maybe you'll get lucky and a MAF cleaning will fix it. Who knows!!

You could always sell the rear mat on Ebay and get some $$$ back on that.

I really wish the Fullsize wheels fit the S-series because they have so many more choices in factory and aftermarket. I think the 17" 5-spokes that come on the 1500 Fullsize are a nice looking rim and they sell for dirt cheap on Ebay.

I've got the TB back at the shop today. They're going to try a different series muffler and see if it cuts down on the drone somewhat. Hopefully we can cut down the interior drone without losing too much exterior sound. :?

At about 70k I replaced my stock Bilsteins with new Sensa Tracs. I've always liked Monroe shocks but these SUCKED! The truck handled WORSE than with the stock Bisteins. I removed the Sensa Tracs and installed a set of HD Handling Bilsteins and I'm very happy with them. They were worth the extra $$$ ...

The Murano is a car based SUV unlike the TB. I don't know about the suspension setup on the TB for lifting but it's at least a truck with a frame!
