Has anyone ever put in a hho kit. If so how well does it work and what are the possible negative effects

It's attached to the front and back of the bed

I know that 225 isn't verry much but with roof top weight I heard even a little can effect your trucks center of gravity

My kayaks are about 100 pounds together. If I got one of those roof top tents you recommended it would put me over 225 pounds just worried about it tipping

1000 pounds. But I don't think that includes driving

How much weight do you think I can safely drive with on top of my rack

Haven't set the profile yet. Pennsylvania. I camp in the bed usually. I do alot of rock climbing so I can sleep on the crash pads. I have thought of adding decking but I don't know what to use. The rack has helped me overcome some of the small bed issues. Had a couch up there the other day

I'm mounting kayaks and extention ladders. It is not adjustable but I'm pretty sure I can cut it down and weld it smaller. might be a fun weekend project. It mounts to the bed walls under the cap
