try to find a wagoneer pre 84, they all had dana 44's and were manual lock out, if you see a dana 44 in a wagoneer but it does not have manual lockout hubs its either going to be vacuum activated or all wheel drive and you dont want that, abd watch out for the grand wagoneers as well here is some in...

I dont know about where you live but down here every other truck I pass has some lift to it , granted its not everyday you see an s10 lifted but fullsize trucks are everywhere and they dont have problems with tie rods comming apart

depends on what kind of locker you are talking about, there is many to choose from so you can get many opinions, manual lockers pretty much stay locked up no matter what, you can get a selectable, electric, air, cable lockers too, I have a Dana trac-loc in the rear of my truck and its not a full loc...

I dont know it that kit is really suppose to use only a dana 30 basically from what I see that the kit is used with any coil sprung axle, and they used a dana 30 but I bet a dana 44 from a bronco would work the same, but thats what I think.

i have the same piece but havent installed it, a buddy of mine noted to me that some places taht work with lastic can melt the clear cover off and instal the billet piece and remelt the covert back on but - i havent found a place to do it yet but would love to find a way to do it - i dont know about...
