Fuel Tank Shield Part #
gmpartsdirect now lists a part # for the fuel tank shield. #12495667. Maybe this could be added to the mod list with the bracket #15960535. The price was $91.56 for the shield.

If I had a drill with a 1/2 inch chuck on it, I'd be fine, but these 3/8th inch chucked drills I have , I cna't find a stepped down 3/4 inch bit. All I cna find are 1/2 as the biggest that can fit in a 3/8 chuck. Try getting a step drill or a hole saw. Summit sells a nice step drill that ranges fro...

Re: Comments On PA-192 Body Lift
No wasps. Did you have to pay extra for them? The only thing I had to deal with was some rain and freezing temperatures. I really need to get a digital camera to document these mods.Mike H. wrote:You didn't get wasps with your kit?????? Got pics?

Looks like there might be enough of a gap at the bottom for those holes to get some air. I've had several people tell me that the throttle body spacers that have the spiral grooves in them to "spin" the air as it goes into the throttle body worked pretty well for them -- anyone else? The holes do n...

Comments On PA-192 Body Lift
After doing the body lift I feel that I should share my experience and opinions on the PA-192. First of all it took me about 11 hour to complete, and I think I could have done it in 8 hours if I had air tools. The instruction were pretty good except for a few problems worth noting. #1. I didn't remo...

Do the dealerships have a chart or manual that describes where to take the measurements. Most do alignments, so I'm guessing they should know how to check for correct ride height. I know some dealers mechanics are not all that bright, but at least one of them out there should be able to tell us some...

Trim Height Measurements
Split this topic to make it easier to find-HJ Don't get me wrong about the "T-bar crank" I don't recommend going much beyond the stock specs. Most I have found are way off, and below Z height specification as delivered. If you have added weight to the front , changing the height yet again, you do n...

Gap Guard Part #
I need gap guards for my crew, but I want to make sure that I'm getting the right part # from Performance Accessories. The part #on their site is 6527. Is this the correct part#? Is this the best place to get gap guards? Thanks, Steve

I have those in my Impala and when I put them in I noticed a better idle and a little more power. My stock Impala plugs are the same style platinum plugs as in the S10. IMO these plugs would work best with a CD ignition because the multiple sparks would have several paths to take creating a firestor...
