Jim, your truck is so clean! Is this an old picture, or do you have a secret to keeping the undercarriage spot free? I think you could still do the duals. My pipes exit simular to the stock single pipe on the outside of the leaf springs. I know, pictures would help. I was saving for a ...

Are you guys both running a fullsize spare? I still have the 28" spare, but I can tell the 31" will fit ok. I have a 31" spare under mine and it was tight getting the 3" pipe to exit the stock location. I can't imagine trying to get duals to exit the rear :? My duals out of the muffler are only 2-1...

no way you can have a spare tire with those. I have duals but they cross under the leaf springs. They rub under a real heavy load... I have duals also, and can get to my spare easily. I had my hitch put on first, then I told my exhaust shop to bend the pipes to avoid any possible binding since the ...

Well that's good news! :) I guess since you are only disabling the TCC function, the PCM doesn't see any sort of TCC failure to report. The PCM isn't very smart after all!

Sounds good! The winch option is a good idea too! Can't wait to see the finished product. 8) I will hold off on the ORI bumper until I see how this turns out. :)

You can build a decent bracket car for $5000 if you can do the work yourself. And working on it is half the fun. Instead of harping on deaf ears , lets get him excited about building a real tire smoker :) This is a great way to spend time with a son or daughter if she's interested. The learning pro...

The vast majority of codes to set the SES light are emissions related, however there are transmission codes that will set the light as well. I don't know the threshold for the TCC. There are actually a few TCC related DTC's that can be triggered. P0740 is a continuous open or short to ground in the...

I really don't want to think about it. I've told him many times how hard it is on componants from the engine to the axel seal. I don't know what the redline is on the 2.2 ...no tach. Point out to him that it is very hard on the rear brakes as well. The torque converter won't be happy for very long ...
