Re: Installed new headunit and now two speakers don't work?

I would recommend against cutting into any factory wiring for the radio. The 2 front speakers should be wired together on each channel, so if ALL your front speakers aren't working they are very likely not hooked up. Check and double check your connections and I am guessing you will find a loose con...

Re: Pioneer shallow mount sub

Lots of manufacturers make shallow mount subs. lots of them I would pick over pioneer subs. Pioneer makes some really nice head units though. As far as amps go, RF was the stuff back in the day, then went through a long down period. They seem to be back to their old ways now though. The RF amp I hav...

He means add a second grounding wire to your battery under your hood. Although my guess is still on it being a h/u problem.

Re: subwoofer not working correct.

To make a new ground for your h/u, do it the same way you did for your amp. Find a good metal spot that you know is part of the chassis (test with a DMM) and ground it there. Unhook the ground from the harness and just use the new ground. This may not fix the problem, but it is something that should...

Re: subwoofer not working correct.

do you just have a single amp? mids and highs running off the radio power?

Did you make a new ground for your radio or simply use the ground on the wiring harness?

Does it do it no matter what source your are using? (ie. radio, CD, AUX input)

Sounds like you have some grounding issues somewhere. Unhook all RCA cables from all amps and see if you still have those problems.

EDIT: Make sure you have everything turned OFF when you unhook stuff!!!
