if an 03 fits i'm pretty sure an 05 would fit, the 04 had a .2 inch longer wheelbase, did you use a canyon dancer to tie it down, and if you dont mind, how did you load it and get it unloaded, did you just ride it down, or back up to something, did you also have to use a bed extender or was it all g...

Will a Medium size sport bike fit in the bed

Anyone actually done this, i was wanting to try to fit an 05 CBR600RR in the bed, the wheel base is 54.5 in. but thats axle to axle so maybe 72 inches total i'd imagine it would fit but i wanted some input from people that have done it, thanks for anyones help

HA HA HA... that reminds me, my uncle used to have this old piece of junk VW Beetle that had an awful buzzer that wouldn't shut off until both front seatbelts were fastened. I guess they didn't want anyone driving their cars around alone. Anyway, he always kept the passenger seatbelt buckled behind...

Does anyone know where I can buy a new ZR5 decal for the side of my bed other than the GM site? Angelique i had this problem too, of trying to find a bed decal and ended up having to pay full price from the dealer of 42 dollars and change, from now on ill gladly pay the 25 bucks from the gm gmparts...

Why can the bike not be transported on the back? You could fab a ramp that would also slide into the receiver to support the rear of the bike. This way the hitch wouldnot have to take all the weight, and some of it would be transfered to the front where you would need it. to answer your first quest...

well that will about do it then, 90 for the carrier and about 420 for the bike, what do you mean by weight distributing hitch? i have the gm hitch, which i believe is the same as yours

i have the access roll up cover looks good but it is not watertight but it does roll up almost completely out of the way and is pretty easy tp install and does lock. its all right and it does fit between the rails

im a cheapie when it comes to things like that, i spent like 6 bucks in the gun but i use mobil 1 synthetic grease, then gun works fine, its the grease that i think is important, but i definetley agree with the 18 inch extension, i love mine

i think they all have that accesory power, but its supposed to shut off prior to draing the battery all the dead.i know if you leave the interior lights on its shuts them off after awhile

well im not sure if the same applies to all disc brakes but with cars or trucks with rear drums and front pads, the rears give about 70% of your stopping power.like i said though im not sure if the same applies to all disc brakes

for the hood hinge if youd like you probably adjust the little rubber stops in the front up or down a little bit to maybe make the hood sit a little differnt, when i put my bug guard on i had to adjust my hood down so it would latch even though its still a pain in the behind to shut it, it not quite...

i got my rhino liner for 250, but i didnt go over the rail though,and they put mine on about a 1/4 of an inch thick, not to mention a nifty little key chain as a free gift, but the wife wanted it done, i didnt it mind it cause ot does prevent rusting and it covers where the bed liner scuffs the bed ...

the zr5 appearance package includes roof rack, bed rail, step bars,wheel flares, 5 spoke spectra gray rims,(black accents on chevy,gray accents on gmc)black front and rear bumpers and black grill, notice my avatar has the the black front end,and those nifty little zr5 decals.which are 44 bucks each ...
