Re: Need a new truck...So got a CC S10

Jongo88 I think I am going to leave the bars there. I personally think the look good and will little kids (3 and 6 yr old) it helps them to now get into the truck since it is higher.

Re: Rear Suspension

I did notice yesterday when I was doing my lift and body lift that the driver side is like 1/8" - 1/4" lower in the rear compared to the passenger side. But I do have a full tank of gas, and the front were both the same.

Re: The Marvelous Mystery Lift

Jongo, Do you think that doing the TB crank and shackles along with the BL I might be able to get away with the 31's without the skid cuts?

Re: The Marvelous Mystery Lift

_Stucky, I like the look of the 33s. I want more ground clearance, I do pavement drive about 70-75% and the rest off road to go hunting. I don't do any krawling. But we do get like 20-30 inches of snow a year....unless last year were we got 27 inches in a week. Then I didn't have the truck, but my c...

Jongo, did you use spacers in the rear with the 31's and do you know what the "true" number is on your tires?

Re: The Marvelous Mystery Lift

After looking at somethings...I should now be able to bump the shocks up to next week. The BL will show up today and the shackles on Friday. So this weekend looks to be busy working on the CC. So I was also looking at doing the tires Saturday or Monday since mostly everything will be done. I just ca...

Re: Fallvitals' lift journal.

Fallvitals, so let me ask you this....was it worth it? Meaning I am looking at just doing 31's to my truck, but 33's have crossed my mind. I don't want to start something that I might regret down the road.

Re: The Marvelous Mystery Lift

Jongo88 Thanks for your help. Right now I don't do a lot of driving just to take me kid to school and go hunting. The 33's I am looking at are really 32.8" and the 31's are 31.2" So 1.6" would be that big of a deal? If I am going to do the cuts for the front, might as well do them for the rear. Also...

Re: The Marvelous Mystery Lift

So with the 2" BL with 2" rear shackles and TB crank and the "cuts" I should be able to run the 31's or the 33's then. I just want to make sure since I am doing it this weekend and Have to order the tires by tomorrow to get by this weekend.

Edit: from the photo you running flairs?

But now looking at the MML again since I have the the shackles, will do tb crank and the BL here tomorrow. I am planning to replace shocks in next couple of months. Also 33x10.5x15 are abou...

Re: Ordering wheel spacers / adapters ( comparison and revie

I know this is bring it back up from the dead (almost 2 years) I have talked with wheel/tire places, local 4x4 shops and some of the lifted chevy guys in my area and all of them say stay away from spacers/adapters. They really can't say why, though. I am just looking at 1.25" from completevalue on e...

Just some advice...

Hey Everyone, I am getting my shackles next week to lift the rear, going to do the TB crank in the front (then an alignment). I have read most of this section of the boards and I will be adding the PA Body lift next weekend if it comes in time. The tires I am going to run are 31x10.5/15. If t...

Need a new truck...So got a CC S10

Hi, Everyone! I am new to the S10 world and have a family so I figured the CC would be my best bet. I got it a month ago, it's a 2003 Metallic Green Zr5 with 65K on it  . Here is a picture on my FB page. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m521/Eric_Foreman/s10.jpg Only mods so far are the AHL...

Re: The Marvelous Mystery Lift

I am new to the S10 world....I have done a f150 before, just cause my wife is a ford lover.... Anyway. I have been ready a lot on this site about what lift to do, what tires to run and so on. I am considering the MML life since it seems to work and is not 6" tall and cost 2200 bucks. My question is ...
