Can i grease(lithium)my sway bar bushings?

My trucks getting pretty crusty/weathered from the lovely north east weather. Is there anything I can grease the sway bar bushings with? I imagine it should really be taken apart as ive never had the hardware changed and the bars pretty rusty. From what ive read, I should'nt grease them with anythin...

Re: Is noise typical when abs engages?

Yeah i've thought of that insurance angle thing. I just could'nt believe living in western new york that i had'nt experienced this before if it was normal, the audible noise etc. . Its pretty much a given that side streets, back roads will have snow covering them,or residual ice that is'nt gonna melt ...

Is noise typical when abs engages?

I've felt like my brakes have been responding halfway decent. Recently winter weather has finally hit. When I am on a snow or ice covered road and attempt to stop,my brakes feel as they are locking up. The pedal gets firmer and theres an audible noise. You are basically not going to stop no way no h...

Well that was what i was talking about. The faulty switch was trying to actuate the front axle, and there would be this whirring sound, real loud. That was how I realized there was a problem. My friend knew what it was relatively quick I thought he said thats what it was, maybe something trying to buil...

Re: HVAC help needed

Is there only one switch in the transfer case? May seem like an odd question, but a friend that works in a transmission shop replaced a switch in my trans case. When mine failed,it would cycle the compressor on. Im trying to make sure that I don't need to replace something different.

Re: Have brakes pedal sinks low

Well so far, it seems to be stopping better, and a somewhat firmer peddle(closer to what originally was by far). So from what ive gathered, the ehcu got messed up,and all the new parts on the rear were overheated in the break in period. The failure was'nt something a shop easily diagnosed(ehcu). As yo...

ok. The rotors were new six months ago,so i guess i could get them turned, depending if its worth the cost vs new ones. Re: Have brakes pedal sinks low

Keep an open mind. Approach this again from the beginning. Do everything again. Don't be so close minded that it has been done once and is not a problem. Sand the pads and rotors if they are in good condition. If they are marginal or show signs of bluing, replace them with a nice set of slotted rot...

I realize this post is a little old and ongoing. You do know that if you have a bad ehcu its probably not going to come up on a diagnostic scan. If you have paid $1400 to have the problem fixed and the shop did not fix it, I think it should be sitting there until they do fix it. This is especially true if it is a safety hazard. Have brakes pedal sinks low

I have a problem w/ my brake pedal going very low. I believed it was a bad master cylinder after a series of brake work being done.
