Yes, I just took them back off and greased the pins. Even grinded on the pad ears to let them slide in the caliper brackets. I just took them for a 60 mile trip and they are smoking, smelling and very hot.

Rear Brakes...HELP

Hey all. Got a stupid question for you. I just changed my rear brakes on my '02. The auto story "ONLY" had the premium pads left. I purchased them and they were a bear to put on, and when they did they were extremely tight. It was tough putting the caliper back over them after compressing the piston...

HELP....Popping noise *solved (t-bar sockets)

Hello all, I have had my ride for about a year now. 2002 GMC ZR5 Sonoma. Well, the past couple days I have had some loud popping or cracking noise from what sounds like the drivers side tire area. I am not sure if it is a CV joint or another suspension component. But it makes the noise when turing a...

Hello all, I found a cheap used Hypertech programmer on ebay. I cant think of the model # right now, but it is the one that fits Chevy 4.3l trucks. Which I have, 2002 GMC ZR5 4.3l. Anyhow, it says on the manual to run premium gas with the performance tune. I have not tried it out yet, but have been ...

Well I finally got around to working on the shackles again. I got the shackle bolts out by cutting the heads off and using the nut as a puller by tightening it and pulling the bolt out. Worked good by using wrenchs or something as spacers.
