Re: MML + RC 2.5"?
Nice rig. Im thinking of doing the BL first, and see how i like things, and go from there. I really like how Blaze's blazer looks. So im probably going to try and replicate that, but with AT's not MT's,Although I love the way the MT's look.

Re: MML + RC 2.5"?
Thanks Guys..... Riceburner, your rub was on the frame or fender ? In looking for wheels, i like to keep stockish wheels from another model, i found the zq8 wheels. 16x8 with bs of 4.33. thought of running 245/75r16. Any ideas if this would be an issue with the MML? my ride is a DD with no offoading...

MML + RC 2.5"?
Looking to finally lift my truck and noticed the RC 2.5" lift. My thoughts were adding this to the MML. The normal MML only lifts the front 1.5" correct? So if this is acceptable and then add dropping the diff 1", you can get a 2.5" lift while maintaining the same cv angle as the MML t-bar crank. co...

Re: how to remove starter?
Thanks. I finally got it out. There was , what i call an alignment plate that aligns the starter with the fly wheel. it was held on by 2 10mm bolts. once that was off the starter almost fell out. Just needed more light to see what was in there.

Just not enough room, i loosened the rear tranny bolts, and i think i removed the front engine mount through bol...

Won't start *solved (bad starter)
2003 s10 CC 4wd 4.3l, been having problems not wanting to start now it won't start at all. Only code I get is a u1041, other codes I had were for an air sensor and O2 sensor. I've done some searching and will make sure the ground to the ebcm is good at g110. Any thing else I can check before I haul ...

Re: Just want it to look like a truck.
My biggest fear or hurdle is I don't want to cut my rig. Just because of screwing it up. But I thought if I needed to cut , what do you think of hiding the cut with a may flap that is fitted, and has a lip that runs up the side of the truck. I figure if it needs to be cut the front is the only place...

Just want it to look like a truck.
Well finally the wife comes to me and says, you need new tires, so now would be a good time to get your lift. I said yes ma'am. I only want my truck to look like a truck. I would like to be able to run 31x10.5. Only because the sheer amount of tire makes for this size. So my searching has pr...

Re: Tow/Haul button......and Auto 4wd
I know this may be digging up an old thread but I thought it best to be put here. How much does the tow/haul help? I have towed my Massey Ferguson 135 tractor with a bushhog and boxblade, on a tandem axle 16' trailer and my CC had no problem shifting or keeping the gears below 55. Above 55 is where ...

Dual exhaust vs single
I know some have said a 3" cat back with a free flowing muffler is the sweet spot for our trucks. But i was cruising ebay and saw some kits with duals with 2.25" pipes. What is the difference? i know this sounds strange but i have never changed an exhaust on any of my vehicles, and i my lack of exha...

Got any other pics with the geo's and bushwackers? I really like that look since my truck is that same color and same wheels.
The geolanders measure 30.6 and you had no rubbing issues ? Or had you already added the spacers?

Re: Actual tire diameter
I figured without the cuts it would be either a small 31x10.5 or a large or true to size 30x9.5. A true 30 would give me an inch more lift, right? or from where I am at right now 1.25" roughly, then add the bl and tbcrank and the truck should sit 4.75 inches higher roughly, correct. It sure would be...

Re: Actual tire diameter
Sorry HJ, the 28.4 was used as an example. My tires actual measure is 27.4. My tires have about 20k miles on them and they are 50k mile tires. So they have gone trough less than have the tread. If my tires measure 27.4 and add the used tread of .5" , that gives me a new tire measurement of 27.9. Is ...

Actual tire diameter
When a tire is listed as a size, then it gives the actual diameter, is this diamater while on the rim and truck or off? The reason I ask is I know a 235/75/r15 should be about 29" un diameter, while actual diamter is more like 28.4". I measured my 235/75r15 pn my truck with the proper amount of air ...

Bushwacker extend a flare with skid cuts?
Hello, I am new here. I have a bone stock '03cc that I would like to mod with flares and the MML. While researching, i saw one member had done the skid flare cuts to his stock fender flares. Would anyone think this could be possible with the Bushwacker fenders? I know it may take a little body work ...
