I fell in love with that truck the first time I saw it online. The perfect S10 :rock:

I thought about keeping mine to do the mods since I found a blown donor ZR2 with great sheet metal. Only down side was that the ZR2 was a std cab. :shrug: So that took the wind out of my sail.

Thanks bud, yeah, I might either Line-X the bumpers then color match them, or get custom ones. I also agree about the grille, I am not a chrome fan!

Thanks for the replies guys. I will clean up the pan and pay attention to it. Also, would it be wise if it is the rear main, to switch back to a dino oil, or possibly a heavier syn? If it wasn't leaking with a particular dino-oil I'd opt to try going back to it and see what happens. Couldn't hurt. ...

Ok, so I change my wheel option. My eyes are on the KMC XD122. It is a 15x7 with 4" BS.

I am replacing my gear box, pump and putting a factory lower steering shaft back in to troubleshoot my off/on issues.

Less than 3k miles on this setup.

what is the OD of his billet stock? How much $$ were they? How long did they take from order to ship? I will have to measure them this week, they are as wide or a bit wider than the rims mounting surface, but I will get you a better measurement. I have used Fred @ http://www.wheeladapter.com/ for years. Top notch guy, and I like having hub centric 2 hub centric adapters.

Only down side is price, but you get a high qaulity part.

Ok, jacked the front end up when I got home and tested the steering. No issues while in the air, and nothing appears to be binding.

I have to find a trust worthy mechanic to take a look at it. Maybe they will tell me I am hearing things and all is fine :?:

I have checked the lines, and they do not appear to be leaking. I also jacked the front end up a while back and tested it as suggested, but that was with the truck and steering cold. I will try it again after running it for a few miles.

Never found a soft cover that does not let a little water in. Mine only allows a few drops or so in during a hard rain. Not near enough to hurt anything in the bed, it is only around the outside rails and stays toward the outside area of the bed.

Mine gets up and moves fine, just a loud engine bay which seems like it is working harder to me. Watching the RPMs it it not working near as hard as it sounds.

Happy I have 3.73s though.

The tungsten is just a silverish accent/color on the wheel. Not the actual metal.

From a lot of reviews I have been reading, they seem to be great bang for the buck. I am going to try them out.

Well so much for more TS today. The noise is gone after straight multiple weeks of this. I am not sure who/what/when/where/why, but I am going to keep a close eye on it. Can't say I ever heard a bad shock, but you should be able to tell by the ride and suspension rebound.
