FTO 2" reciever install on stocker crew
hey guys, It has been forever since I have been able to get on the forum (60+ hrs a week 7 days since April) but anyways, my '03 ZR5 is in need of some TLC. At the beginning of this year when I bought my tune up parts a buddy of mine was able to hook me up with a "junk yard" hitch for my truck. Othe...

Re: Problems getting gas *Evap Vent Valve
I am having the same problem with my '03 ZR5. I pulled the can off my truck tonight and the filter seems to be fine however, after applying 12 volts to the solenoid it appears to be stuck so I believe that is the problem. After reading some on here I would like to replace it with the one from a 2000...

I got the the truck all done and put back together with no problems. My dad put a call in to a guy he knows that I guess has acess to that kind of GM info in order for us to get the spec. According to that guy, GM had no bulletins posted on that torque spec and 103 ft lbs is indeed the magic number....

Front wheel bearing factory torque specification
Hey guys,
My dad and I just put a new right front hub assembly on my '03 ZR5 and I wanted to know what the factory torque spec was. I have been seeing anything from 103 ft lbs to 180.

B & M Electronic Shift Improver Problems *SOLVED
I just installed my new B & M shift improver and am having problems with it. The install went fine with no problems but the initial test drive with it hooked up I did not notice any difference and my truck also stalled four times. I should mention that I have a check engine light on that is throwing...

I WAS asking for opinions for both...I figured there had to be a few on trucks on the road now and wanted their opinions. I have thought about the HPPIII but didnt want to spend that much money, especially since my ZR5 is bone stock at this point. I was interested mainly in firmer shifts but not loo...

Adjusting O.E.M headlights
I recently changed the bulbs in my headlights and am really pleased with the bulbs I put in except for the fact that right now they are doing a better job lighting up the sky then the road. Is there any way to adjust the position of the lights so I can get them pointed down on the road? From what I ...

Advice on Removing Factory Emblems
I want to de-emblem my ZR5 and was wondering if anyone else has done this what did you use to get the sticky residue off. A friend of mine used gas on his '06 Ram with good results, however, I was just worried about using gasoline on the paint.

Drivers side center plug replacement went easy after I made a tool for it. I have just about every extension and wobble adaptor made. None are as easy to use. I used a thinwall plug socket that has a 19 mm nut style head. I then took a cheap (Taiwan) 19 mm open end wrench and bent it in a 90*. It w...

Trailer Hitch Reciever Question
I have a 2" reciever on my '98 blazer and I was wondering if that would fit on my 2003 ZR5? If not where would be the best place to get one? I was thinking a Reese or a Draw-Tite.

Blown Posi???---noobie
First I would just like to say that I am a noobie to my truck and the site but am really excited because there is a lot of very helpful info on here that will come in handy. Ok, I recently bought a 2003 S10 ZR5 in Sept. 2008 because I totaled my 1998 S10 Blazer over the summer : (. The truck is spot...
