has anybody modded factory sway bars with new holes to make them tighter? just curious as its along the lines of endlinks. I did this with my subie and it was loads of fun. I could force snap oversteer by putting the rear ones at there tightest and the fronts at stock. it made lots of fun awd drifti...

ok, i have been looking for this and i just found it.

I had a few questions for you.
1. Where are the tbars
2. how hard was it to turn them out.
3. were the new rear springs easy to install?
4. do the struts hit the bump stops now at all?

Thanks in advanced.

lowering? lifting?

i know this is an odd question, but have any of you lowered your trucks? I know loads of s10 guys have, but what about crew cabs? I have heard about cranking down the torsion bars, or something like that. 1. what are those? 2. how do they work? 3. how difficult is it to do? 4. is it both front and r...

Towing went great, the car performed just like it should. The car dolly... not so good. No over heat. The truck barely felt a bit slower with the car back there. It didnt seem to bother the truck at all. The temps were around 20-25 degrees for most of the trip (outside temp) with a min of 13 saw on ...

I agree with BikerBoomer. Little to no gains seen, I don't know either what our MAF is rated for but if it is similar to the one used on v8s I wouldn't worry at all. You won't exceed it with the amount of air you can pull with a nearly stock 4.3 I do belive gm mafs are classified by there size 3'',...

only way it can flow that much more is if your engine pulls that much more, which doesnt change when you change your maf. There is no point to changing out your maf, only if you are flowing more air than it can read, like if you have a super or turbo charger, where the amount of air going into the e...

Don't let the load push you around. Be cautious. If you tow lots add a brake controller and trailer brakes. Getting moving is one thing, but being able to stop is more important. I have towed many things before, boats, seadoos, trailers with motorcycles, all with different cars though, never with t...

Im going to be stopping ever 20 min and wait like 5 min, and then take off. The car wei...

Congrats on the ride! The 4.3 engines are about the best V-6 out there, light and allot of grunt, perfect for trucks, and last forever. The front axle/suspension setup is about the most sucky part. But if you just use it for the road, that's no problem. I bought mine new in 2001, but have used it a...
